Girls Basketball League 2025

  • Basketball league for girls to have fun, be competitive, and stay active
    • 2 Skills & Drills Clinics as well as 10 regular season games, playoffs, and championship
    • Jersey and shorts included
  • Girls ages 8 to 17; age as of August 31, 2026
    • Age Divisions:
      • 11U – ages 8 to 11
      • 14U – ages 12 to 14
      • 17U – ages 15 to 17
  • League Dates:
    • Skills & Drills Clinics will be held on Saturdays, June 21st and 28th
      • 11U at 10:00 AM
      • 14U at 11:00 AM
      • 17U at 12:00 PM
    • Player evaluations and drafts will be held on the week of July 23rd
    10U Division – 6:15pm
    14U/17U Division – 7:45pm

    Drafts will be held at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Blvd.
    Plyers must wear sneakers and comfortable clothing to allow for movement.
    Practices dates and times are determined by the coaches.

  • Games will be held August 27th through October 18th
    • Depending on the division, games will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
      • No games on August 30th and October 1st
    • Dates are subject to change depending on the amount of registrations
  • $120 for Coconut Creek residents; $170 for non-residents
    • To qualify as a Coconut Creek resident, the following must be provided:
      • State-issued driver’s license or valid passport for identification
      • And one of the following as proof of Coconut Creek residency: valid voter’s registration card, water bill, cable bill, or electric bill
        • Bills cannot be more than two months older than the date on which they are submitted as proof of residency
    • Credit card payment only
  • Held at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard
  • Volunteer coaches needed
    • If interested, contact the Recreation Complex at 954-956-1580 or email CreekSportsGirlsBBall@coconutcreek.net
    • Application and background screening with fingerprinting required
    • Lack of volunteer coaches could affect the maximum capacity of divisions resulting either in registration of the affected divisions closing prematurely or redistribution of division ages
  • Registration Details:
    • Registration open until full
    • Register online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or by walk-in at the Recreation Complex or at the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road
      • You must have a WebTrac account prior to registering online
      • For assistance with setting up a WebTrac account, contact the Recreation Complex at 954-956-1580
    • In order that a participant’s age and legal guardianship are visually verified, a copy of their birth certificate may be required to be brought to either walk-in location
